1994, directed by Alex Proyas

This film is a perfect sample of its time, it is grunge, STP soundtrack included. I love this revenge story and James O’barr’s graphic novel was one of the first adult comics I ever read. Brandon Lee was perfect for this role, too bad we lost him during production, I personally think he would have been a better NEO in The Matrix (but that’s a topic for another post). Re-visiting this movie has made me realize that there are some cheese factors, but still doesn’t break it. And like every 14 year old at the time, I was The Crow for halloween.
